| Gupta inaugurates renovated community hall | | | early times report
Jammu, Apr 30: Former Union Minister and M.L.A Jammu West Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta today inaugurated newly renovated Community Hall at Ward No. 27. The Hall has been renovated Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta at a cost of Rs. 7.50 lakh. Senior Citizens and Prominent persons of the area expressed their gratitude to Prof. Gupta for his initiatives of carrying out developmental activities in Ward No. 27, They said many works like black topping of roads, construction of lanes ,drains and Electrical maintenance which has been the long pending demands of people of area has been met. While speaking on the occasion Arun Khanna, President JKDF (District Jammu Urban) termed Prof. Gupta as "Vikas Purush". Khanna said that during the tenure of Prof. Gupta developmental works in whole Jammu West Constituency has been carried out on war footing. No other previous Member has ever made the such developments in the Jammu West Constituency as Prof. Gupta did. A Mandir Committee has been constituted on the occasion which shall look after the Community Hall. Prem Sharma has been made President of the Committee.
Prominent JKDF members present during the occasion are Murari Lal, Prashant Puri, Krishan Lal, Ashok Gandhi, Happy, Hardev Singh, Smt. Chanderkanta, Suresh Gupta, Sham Gupta etc. |
