| 12 canals in Pattan de-silted | | | Jammu | Jan 27
In reply to a question by Dr. Mustafa Kamal, tourism minister Dilawar Mir said that large quantity of silt has accumulated in irrigation canals/kuls of Pattan constituency.
De-silting was conducted on 12 canals/kuls during 2005-06 for which Rs 1.66 lakh were spent and 12 canals are proposed for de-silting during current year depending upon availability of funds.
