3 govt teachers assault CEO at Kishtwar | | | EArly Times Report Jammu, Apr 30: Three government teachers today allegedly assaulted chief education officer, Kishtwar, Fazal Ahmed Chowan inside the premises of government higher secondary school for boys here. When the incident took place, the CEO was about to leave the school after attending a party arranged jointly by the school staff and DIET on the eve of his superannuation. According to official reports, Akthar Hussain Giri, Sanjay Parihar alias Tony and Amrish Parihar, all teachers, abused Fazal and then assaulted him while he was coming out of the school. He was, however, saved by other teachers who were accompanying him. The three teachers assaulted him because they were unhappy with him as he had ordered their detachment order in compliance to deputy commissioner's order No: DCK/12/57-59 dated April 24 last. A total of six teachers were detached. They were attached with NGO Scouts and Guides by a former CEO. It was alleged that they had not attended any school duty for the past one decade. President of teachers and masters association, Kishtwar, Mehboob Qazi has demanded a stern action against the three teachers for allegedly assaulting CEO. Meanwhile, Fazal later lodged a complaint with the deputy commissioner against the guilty teachers. The deputy commissioner was said to have assured him that he would take stern action against the attackers. |
