| J&K Football Tennis Association organises meeting | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Apr 30 : A meeting of office bearers of Jammu and Kashmir Football Tennis Association was held here today under the Chairmanship of President, Raja Ghulam Nabi Wani.. Manz oor Ahmad and Tariq Gani were the special invitees during the meeting. The meeting was discussed the Junior National Foot ball Tennis Championships which are going to be held at Jaipur from May 25 to 28, 2012.
The meeting was also decided that 6-day coaching camp will be held from May 11 to 16, 2012 at Indoor Stadium, Srinagar. The meeting was told that all the necessary boarding, lodging, refreshment etc. has been arranged by the Association for the players who are going to participate in the said coaching camp.
In the meeting, it was also declared that the senior national championships of said event are going to be held at Gurez on July 27, 28, 29, 2012 in which all the national teams will participate and it is expected that more than 1000 players will participate in the said event.
This step has been taken for exposing the local talent of the said area and encourages the local youth for participation in various sports events and bring the local area which is having extreme natural beauty on the national tourism map for encouraging the tourism in the local area. |
