| ‘Tourist villages identified on MLA’s recommendations’ | | | Jammu | Jan 27
Minister for Rural Development in reply to a question by M. Y. Tarigami of CPI(M) told LA that identification for tourist villages have been made on the recommendations of concerned MLAs and various components of development are being executed as per the guidelines prescribed. He said that the issue of pre-fabrication structures is sub-judice at present and MLAs would be consulted while effecting any change in the construction plans etc.
In reply to another question by Mr. Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Sofi, the Minister told Legislative Assembly that no project under SGSY has been formulated and submitted to Government of India for sanction from district Kupwara.
