| Criminal booked under PSA | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Apr 30: A hard core criminal was today booked by Pacca Danga Police under J&K Public Safety Act (PSA), police said. According to the police statement said that arrested was identified as Deeraj Sharma alias Nikru Badmash son of Suresh Sharma of Dogra Hall is a hardcore/habitual criminal who has formed a gang of criminals to carry out his nefarious activities. The accused allegedly is involved in several heinous offences and cases have been registered against the subject, police said. The PSA was imposed against him when he assaulted on a lawyer student namely Arya Veer Singh of Jindrah. In compliance to the detention order of District Magistrate, SHO Pacca Danga Inspector Bharat Sharma and ICPP Parade Surjeet Kumar immediately detained the subject and is to be handed over to Superintendent Central Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu for further detention. |
