8 PoK guests among 31 cross sides on LoC

SRINAGAR, Apr 30 : Eight new guests from Pakistan - occupied Kashmir (PoK) arrived here this afternoon while seven Kashmiris crossed over to other side of the Line of Control (LoC). Sixteen people also crossed sides after completing their stay in PoK and here, official sources said here.
They said eight PoK residents, including three women, arrived at Kaman post, the last Indian military post on LoC in Uri sector after crossing the Aman Setu, the peace bridge, on foot.
Eleven resident of Kashmir, including three women, who had gone to other side of the LoC also returned here in the Karvan-e-Aman bus, operaing between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad. They said seven Kashmiris, including four women, crossed to other side of the LoC. Similarly, five PoK residents, who had come here returned to their homes after completing stay. They included a woman.The service was started on April 7, 2005.
This year, so far 87 PoK residents had arrived here, while 168 from Kashmir had crossed to the other side.
