| Council orders transfers of 10 managers, coaches | | Satish Gupta is back as manager swimming pool | |

JAMMU, May 1: Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council has transferred as many as 10 incharge managers and coaches posted at different District Coaching Centers (DCC) and Regional Coaching Centers (RCC) of the state.
Interestingly, an order in this regard, signed by Chief Sports Officer MS Baba, was issued on April 22 but the same was circulated among the concerned individuals only on the last day of the offices in Winter Capital i.e. on April 30.
Incharge manager, District Coaching Center (DCC), Udhampur and only table tennis coach in the state, Satish Gupta has been posted as incharge manager at Swimming Pool, M A Stadium, here. Satish has replaced Sallamat Choudhary, who has been shifted to Bana Singh Stadium, R S Pura. Incharge manager at Shastri Nagar play fields, football coach, Sat Pal Singh has been given the charge of DCC Udhampur replacing Satish Gupta. Basketball coach at Mini Stadium, Parade, Saktish Kumar has been promoted and subsequently posted as incharge manager, Shastri Nagar play fields.
Similarly, incharge manager and kho-kho coach, Nusrat Gazala has been shifted to Ghani Memorial fields/Raiderpora Play Fields from her existing posting at District Coaching Center, Pulwama. Posted at RCC Srinagar, Ball Badminton instructor, Riaz Ahmed has been promoted and made incharge manager of DCC Pulwana.
In the meantime, senior Judo coach, Suraj Bhan Singh has been transferred from DCC Kathua and posted at RCC Jammu. And, Jugal Kishore has been sent to DCC Kathua in place of Suraj Bhan Singh. Another handball instructor (contractual) at RCC Srinagar, Mohd Ashraf Parry has been shifted to DCC Baramulla. Jhazir Mohd, kabaddi instructor at RCC Srinagar has also been transferred to DCC Baramulla. |
