| MC Khalsa College observes May Day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 1: To mark May Day popularly known as International Labour Day to mark the rights of the orking class, the NSS unit of M C Khalsa College of Education organized a function today. Harbans Singh ,Ex Minister and Chairman of the college was the chief guest on the occasion whereas Dr Vishvaraksha NSS Programme Co-ordinator University of Jammu was the guest of honour. Ms Shivani Sharma , NSS programe officer of the college presented the welcome address Dr Madhu Singh Principal of the college presented a complete report of all the NSS activities taken up for the session 2011-12. She emphasized that NSS unit has adopted Satwari Zone comes under Rural Area for coming three years for taking up various projects under three phases. Dr Vishwaraksha appreciated the efforts made by NSS unit of the college and applauded NSS volunteers of the college on the completion of the first phase of project under taken by NSS unit. S Harbans Singh ,Chairman of the college appreciated the various task taken by NSS unit Earlier, certificates of appreciation were distributed among students and faculty members who participated in different events organized by the college. Alka Sharma presented vote of thanks.
