| Agri deptt organises awareness programme | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, May 1: In order to protect and preserve the agriculture sector, the Agriculture Department Kathua organized awareness programme in village Barmori circle Changran today. The programme was held under the supervision of AEO Prem Chand, JAEO Murari Lal and JAEO(R-E-Z) Anil Dub. In the programme along with the hundreds of local people, the students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir School from class 8th to 10th took part in the programme and visited the agriculture farms where the harvesting period of the wheat is going on with Combine ( Crop Harvester) which is the new technology introduced in the agriculture sector.
The participated students were informed about the importance of sustainability of the agriculture sector which is the life line of human society and also awakened about the uses of modern/latest agriculture technology. While interacting with students AEO Prem Chand, JAEO Murari Lal and JAEO(R-E-Z) Anil Dub told that the main motive to conduct the visit of the students in the agriculture farm was to introduce the fundamental and basic role of agriculture sector to the students. |
