| Power Grid dedicates dining hall at Rotary inner Wheel Channi Rama | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 1:In line with its policy of contributing to the social sector, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, Northern Region-II dedicated a Kitchen and dining hall under its CSR Scheme to the children of the Rotary inner Wheel (Home for mentally retarded children) at Channi Rama Jammu.
S C Singh, Executive Director, POWERGRID was approached by office bearers of this school for extending helping hand in constructing a dining hall and kitchen in addition to face-lifting of the entire building.
POWERGRID immediately agreed to the proposal and constructed a kitchen and dining hall for the needy children. POWE RGRID also undertook the work of face-lifting of the entire building under this package at a total financial implication of Rs 15 lakh.
Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, Northern Region-II had earlier dedicated a hall and stair case constructed by POWERGRID under its CSR Scheme to the children of Rotary inner Wheel. |
