| DC orders probe into assault on CEO | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, May 1: Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar today ordered probe into assault on outgoing CEO. The probe has been entrusted to Principal DIET Kishtwar.
As per the order issued by DC, Principal DIET Kishtwar has been directed to conduct the probe against three teachers Akthar Hussain Giri, Sanjay Parihar @ Tony and Amrish Parihar who allegedly assaulted the CEO. The enquiry officer has been directed to submit his findings by May 7. The DC also issued directions to the concerned DDO's for withholding the salaries of all the three accused teachers till further orders. Meanwhile the accused teachers denied the charges. One of the accused Akthar Hussain Giri in a press statement issued here today claimed to be the President Education Reformation Teachers Union Kishtwar. He condemned the statement of President Teachers Association Kishtwar Mehboob Ahmed Qazi in which he (Mehboob Qazi) demanded stern action against the accused.
Giri said Qazi is working in an attached capacity in DIET Kishtwar and demanded his immediate removal from the said post. He alleged that on one hand CEO issued detachment orders of few teachers while on the other hand , the outgoing he ordered attachments of few influential teachers/Masters. The General Secretary of the association demanded an independent probe into attachment orders of Teachers/Masters issued by the CEO between 24-04-2012 to 28-04-2012. The association also expressed concern over the utilization of services of suspended employee of education department, Mukhtayar Ahmed who was suspended by the department after he was allegedly found involved in multi crore fake salary withdrawal scandal in Marwah education zone of Kishtwar District.
The association sought intervention of Director School Education and Commissioner Secretary Education to revoke all the attachment orders passed by the CEO Kishtwar from time to time and detachment all the officials who are working in the office of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Election Cell, ADC office, CEO Office, ZEO Offices, DIET and various other institutions of District Kishtwar. |
