| Abducted 9th class girl recovered, accused arrested | | |

Jammu, May 1: Kanac-hak police claimed to have recovered an abducted girl with the arrest of her abductor from Katra here today.
As per police reports, Maya, name changed, a class 9th student went missing on 14 April from her residence at Kanachack and a case U/S 363 was registered in Police Station Kanachak . The hunt to recover the girl and her abductor was launched in the area promptly after the case formally got registered.
SDPO Domana Sandeep Mehta constituted several police team and dispatched to the every districts of the state and on specific information, police today conducted a raid at Katra and recovered the girl from the clutches of her kidnapper.
"He has been identified as Cittu Ram son of Girdari Lal of village Panjgrahiyan, Kanachack, police said further adding, "girl aftermedical check up was handed over to her parents while the furtherinvestigation in the case is in progress." |
