| CEO Kathua suspends head master GMS Shaba Chak | | Alleged sexual harassment of girl students | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, May 2: Chief Education Officer (CEO), Kathua has suspended head master of Govt Middle School (GMS) Shaba Chak Hiranagar for his alleged involvement in sexual harassment of girl students.
It is to be noted that few days back the parents of the girl students under the leadership of Sarpanch Shaba Chak lodged their protest and complaint before District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kathua as well as CEO against Bishan Dass, Head Master of Govt Middle School Shaba Chak for allegedly forcing the girls students to have sexual relations with him. The locals informed that Bishan Dass threatened the girls of dire consequences if they revealed it to their respective parents.
To look into the matter, CEO Kathua JK Soodhan constituted an investigation committee which had to enquire the whole episode and after a thorough probe it was found that Bishan Dass, Head Master Govt Middle School was deliberately causing the sexual harassment to the innocent girl students. In this light, CEO initiated action against Bishan Dass and suspended him from the post of Head Master of Govt Middle School Shaba Chak.
