| 'Railway security coordination' meeting held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, May 2: A security coordination meeting was held at the office chamber of SP Railways Jammu in which among others DTM Railway Station Jammu, Dy SP, GRP Lines Jammu, Dy Commandant CRPF Jammu participated. Spokesperson said that various important issues/ points related to railway security were discussed among the officers of Rail-ways/RPF/ CRPF. "Partici-pants were told that there is need for better co-operation, co-ordination and liaison between the Railways/ GRP/RPF/CRPF Officers and other various agencies involved in the security of Railways in Jammu Zone, the official said. During the meeting it was explained to the participants that the security of Railway passengers/ track/ stations and trains is our prime objective for which all the GRP Officers/men in co-ordination with other agencies have to work in a team spirit to achieve this objective. It was also stressed on the participants to streamline and upgrade the security arrangements at Railway Stations/ Track/Guards/bridges/Tunnels/Culverts of various areas of railway Jammu Zone. |
