| ARTO returns cash to its owner | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KISHTWAR, May 2: In a rare act of honesty, Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Kishtwar Kuldeep Singh in presence of Tehsildar Kishtwar Indeerjeet Singh Parihar and other officials of District Administration handed over an amount of Rs. 92750 to its real owner Anil Kumar Sharma resident of Matta Kishtwar.
Kuldeep Singh found the cash lying abandones and later brought the matter into the notice of Deputy Commiss-ioner Kishtwar Moham-mad Hussain Malik who after proper verification on the bases of the other documents present inside the polythene bag identified the owner of the said cash. After receiving the missing money, Anil Kumar expressed his thanks to ARTO Kishtwar for returning the money for which he almost had lost hopes. Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar and Tehsildar Kishtwar also hailed the honesty of the ARTO Kishtwar. |
