| Noble Hearts School celebrates Labour Day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 2: Labour day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Noble Hearts School, Udeywala. On the occasion the students were apprised of the importance of Labour Day. Speaking on the occasion a special assembly was conducted where in the Principal of the school Shalini Bhakri explained the vital role played by the labour section of the society. She also highlighted our dependence on them. "The type of work does not matter. One should learn to respect and not look down upon any kind of work" , she said.
A cultural program was also organized which highlighted the concept of dignity of labour. The tiny tots exhibited a show depicting the work done by the employees at different professions. Sneha Sharma as a flower seller, Aarush Sharma, Aditya and Sahaj Handoo as doctors, Sakshi and Arshi Handoo as teachers, Aarooj and Akshara as fruit and vegetable vendors, Udhyansh as gardener, Urvika as driver, Harshita and Zeeshan as pilots, displayed their professions in a befitting manner which was appreciated by every one.
On the occasion the helpers of the school, Maya, Kumari Rinky, Ratno Devi, Puran Chand and Sunil Kumar were also felicitated. |
