| Sarpanches Call on BDO | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, May 2: In an introductory meeting with all the Sarpanches of block Kathua was conducted by newly joined BDO Anirudh Rai in the premises of BDO here today.
While interacting with Sarpanches of block Kathua, the BDO Anirudh held hreadbare discussions about the various developmental and public welfare schemes which are actively carrying at Panchayat level in block Kathua.
On the occasion, he allocated Rs 1 lakh to each Sarpanch for the renovation of their respective Panchayat Hall.
Anirudh told that MNREGA, IAYA, total sanitation programme and SGSY are already functioning at Panchayat level and resulted up to mark performance till date.
Similarly, the Sarpanches also expressed their full cooperation and support to the BDO in order to carry out all the developmental and welfare schemes at Panchayat level.
In the meeting out of total 39 Sarpanches 37 Sarpanches were present.
