| Bajaj Allianz delivers on claim servicing | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 2: Bajaj Allianz, as one of the leading Private Sector general insurance companies in India, has once again proved its ability to pay claims promptly. Property belonging to M/S. Gupta Electronics, adjoining City Square Mall, Jammu was gutted in a devastating fire in the late evening of March 31 last.
This incident was widely reported in the media. This property with financial interest of JK Bank, Chand Nagar, Jammu, Branch was insured with BAGICL. The insurers were informed about the loss on 1-04-2012 for necessary survey and loss assessment.
The insured complied with necessary claim related formalities on April 18 and the insurers settled the claim for the assessed loss amount of Rs 30.34 lakh on April 25.
In this connection a function was held in the premises of JK Bank, Zonal Office, Rail Head Complex, Jammu on April 30 where the claim cheque was handed over to one of the partners of the insured firm, PK Gupta by OP Sharma president & Zonal Head J&K Bank.
