| BKS confers Life Time Achievement award to Chib and others | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 2: Bhartiya Kala Sangam (BKS) organised a function based on Life Time Achievement Award today at K.L Saigal Hall Cultural Academy Complex, Jammu in which R S Chib Minister for Health and Medical Education was the Chief Guest. Chief Guest R S Chib while speaking on the occasion appreciated the efforts of Bhartiya Kala Sangam for launching the Life Time Achievement Award in recognition of valuable services rendered in various field of activities. He opined that such function needs to be organised at a regular interval, so that the precious service given by anyone in the civil Society gets adequate recognisation. He congratulated all those who were felicitated in the function. Earlier T R Sharma KAS (Retd) briefly highlighted the various activities so far organised during the last one year. He also gave details of persons, who were honoured with Life Time Achievement Award. The following persons, who were honoured with Life Time Achievement Awards, are R.S Chib, Hon'ble Minister for Health and Medical Education, Farooq Khan IGP, Savita Bakshi Additional Secretary (J) Cultural Academy, Sohial Kazmi Senior Journalist, Manmohan Wahi, Kamal Sharma D.S.P (Retd), Ajay Kapoor Balbir Singh, Sanjeeev Gupta, Veena Honda. The programme was conducted by Ravi Kant Sharma while vote of thanks was presented by Ramesh Singh Chib Director, Bhartiya Kala Sangam. |
