GHSS Pallanwa wins boys' U-17 kho-kho title | | | early times report JAMMU, May 3: Government Higher Secondary School Pallanwala clinched the boys under-17 kho-kho title after they beat High School Gigrial by eight points in the final of the inter-school zonal level competitions held under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at Government High School Jourian in Tehsil Akhnoor. The boys' under-14 kho-kho trophy went to Government High School Datyal, who beat Government Middle School Bandowala again by a margin of eight points. However, the under-17 boys' kabaddi final was won by Government Higher Secondary School Dhakhar beating Higher Secondary School Khour by a comfortable margin of 14 points. Earlier, the competition was declared open by Headmaster of host school, Savita Pandha and Joginder Singh. In all, 250 students drawn from different schools falling under zone Khour shall compete in the disciplines of kabaddi, kho-kho, volleyball and wrestling. |
