| Jandial biradari congregation on 6 May | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 3: Arrangements for the bi-annual congregation of Jandial biradari were finalized at the extraodinary meeting held here today under the Chairmanship of the chief Patron, Justice (Retd.) K.K. Gupta.
The bi-annual congreg eation would be held at the revered Dev Asthan of Bawa Sahej Nath Ji, Gole Pulli, Talab Tilloo, Jammu on Guru Purnima falling on May 06 i.e Sunday.The highlight of the congregation would be Hawan, Pattal Pujan, Flag hoisting and Langer (community lunch). Giving details about the elaborate arrangements General Secretary of All Jandial Biradari Rajeev Jandial informed that the Hawan would be performed at the Dev Asthan at 8.00 AM, which would be followed by the Pattal Pujan at 10.00 AM. The Flag hoisting ceremony shall be held immediately thereafter. The flag would be unfurled by the Chairman, Patrons, President, members of the Excecutive Committee and other officer bearers of the Biradari, prominemt among them would be O P Gupta, I.C. Jandial, Ashok Gupta (IGP Retd.), S.C. Jandial, Satish Gupta, Ravi Maha jan. President of the Biradari Satish Gupta has made a fervent appeal to the Jandial brethren to assemble in large numbers at the Dev Asthan for the congregation. He also solicited for the support and views of the Jandial biradari for enlarging the scope of initiatives undertaken by the All Jandial Biradari in recent past. Gupta informed that langer would be served at Dev Asthan at 11.00 AM onwards. Among others present on the occassion include Deputy Chief Patron O.P. Gupta, Advocate K.K. Jandial and Secretary Vinay Gupta.
