| Inter-school meet of Miran Sahib Zone | | GHS Bansultan wins U-17 kabaddi tie | | early times report
JAMMU, May 3: Government High School Bansultan defeated High School Simbal by five points to enter next round of boys’ under-17 kabaddi event in the inter-school competitions of Miran Sahib zone, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Miran Sahib grounds, here today.
Earlier, the competitions were declared open by Principal of host school, BD Gorkha, who encouraged the participants. Today’s matches in kabaddi, kho-kho and volleyball were officiated by Iqbal Kour, Anita Kour, Gourav Sharma, Ravish Vaid, Mulkh Raj, Parveen, Gourav, Dil shaad and Ravinder Singh.
The Detailed Results:
Under-14 year: Kabaddi: (Semifinal): BHS Simbal Camp bt GMS Kotli Shah Daula by 13 points; GMS Kotli Miran Fateh bt BMS Rattian by 17 points; MS Kotli Shah Daula bt MS Kotli Arjun Singh by 14 points. Volleyball: Army Public School Miran Sahib bt MS Kotli Mian Fateh 25-13, 25-11.
Under-17 year: Kho-Kho: GHS Simbal Camp bt Kotli Shah Doula by two points; BHS Simbal Camp bt BHS Govind Singh Pura by nine points.
