| JAKFED Employees continue stir | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, May 3: JAKFED Employees continued their strike against the decision of Board of Management for not implementing the 6th Pay Commission.
Addressing the protestors speakers alleged that the Board meeting on April 28, 2012 was rescheduled for April 30, 2012 but despite of the assurance given by the Board of Management to the employees, the Board meeting again deferred which is purely discriminatory' and arbitrarily on their part with the aggrieved employees of the JAKFED.
Protestors alleged that delay in board meeting is putting the employees at losers end who have pinned their high hopes on the board meeting.
Jugal Sharma, Vice President, INTUC who addressed protesting JAKFED employees assured that the INTUC will remain supportive to JAKFED employees till the demands of the JAKFED employees were not addressed to.
It is pertinent to mention here that some of members of JAKFED Employees Welfare Association have called on Union Minister for Health Gulam Nabi Azad during his recent visit to State. Union Minister who gave patient hearing and conveyed displeasure in the matter and assured to take the issue with the Chief Minister of State.
