AMCCC extends support to protesting migrants | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, May 3: All Migrant Camps Coordination Committee (AMCCC) executive member led by Ajay Bharti visited the relief holders dharna site at Jagti township and assured support to protesters in their struggle. Speaking on the occasion Ajay Bharti said the migrants are facing many hardships and economic crisis in view of the sky rocketing prices of essential commodities. G L Bhat said that AMCCC delegation has met the Prime Minister of India recently and presented charter of demands to him, besides discussing the demands including free power supply to Jagti township and enhancement of cash relief upto Rs. 12000/- per month. T K Sharma, general secretary of the organization demanded a Cabinet Minister and two MLCs may be given birth in Govt. (Legislature) so that the problems of Kashmiri Pandits may be taken upto proper levels. Speakers also demanded the passage of the Hindu shrines and temples bill and development of religious places and permit to visit Sharda temple located at Muazffarabad (PoK) for Darshan. Among those who spoke on the occasion included the Chairman of the organization are Verinder Bhan, Hyday Nath, T K Sharma (G Secy) and G L Bhat.
