PDP flays govt over non functional of employment exchange | | | Early Times Report KISHTWAR, May 3: Senior Peoples Democratic Party leader Shakir Hussain Siddiqui in a press statement issued here today flayed the government over non serious approach towards Kishtwar District. Siddiqui said that government has failed in terms of strengthening the employment exchange, Kishtwar which is a headless department since Kishtwar get district status in the year 2007 during PDP-Congress coalition government. He said that Employment Exchange Kishtwar now commonly known as District Guidance and Counselling Center (DGCC) is without Assistant Director and several other posts are lying vacant in the said department. He said that unemployed qualified youths of Kishtwar get themselves registered in this centre with the hope that government would do something substantial for their employment adding that instead the government is playing with their career. He said that govt has failed to fill up the post of Dy Director and other vacant posts lying vacant in employment exchange, Kishtwar. He urged the state government to remain conscious and responsible while dealing with the affairs of Kishtwar District. Siddiqui also questioned the silence of both the elected representatives of Kishtwar District who are part of Omar Abdullah led coalition government in the state and urged them to push the government to make employment exchange Kishtwar functional without wasting any time. |
