| Abductor arrested, woman recovered | | |

Jammu May 3: Ramnagar police claimed to have arrested a kidnapper and rescued woman from his possession after a raid in Udhampur city here today.
Police sources sharing details said that acting upon missing complaint lodged by one Sanjay Kumar of village Surni alleging his wife namely Veena Dewi was missing from her residence. Police team led by SHO Ramnagar Vishal Sharma conducted a raid in Udhampur township area and recovered the kidnapped woman.
The kidnapper identified as Prahlad Sing son of Jagan Singh of Majalta was also arrested on sot. A case u/s 366 RPC in this connection stands registered against the accused. |
