Early Times Report JAMMU, May 3: At least 13 persons were injured when the minibus they were travelling in met with an accident at Senaie in Bhaderwah this morning. Police sources said the ill-fated minibus (JK06/2069) was on its way from Bhaderwah to Doda when it met with an accident at Senaie at about 11:30 am. The injured included three members of a family who were identified as Hameeda Begum, wife of Sardar Mohammad of Pul-Doda, their son Wasim Aftab and daughter Mehnaz Bano.Other injured included Zahida Begum, wife of Mohammad Shafi of Malothi, Athar Ahmed, son of Ghulam Nabi of Dandi, Bhaderwah, Shamima Begum, wife of Abdul Rashid of Chakka, Abdul Rashid, son of Abdul Rehman of Chakka, Ajeet Kumar, son of Narayan Dass of Marmat, Mehar, daughter of Akhtar Hussain of Bhella, Farooq Ahmed, son of Ghulam Hassan of Nagar, Bhaderwah, Aftab Ahmed, son of Mehboob Tak of Bhaderwah, Nazir Ahmed, son of Abdul Aziz of Puneja, and Bashir Ahmed, son of Passri Adda, Bhaderwah. Deputy commissioner, Doda, Farooq Ahmed Khan has provided a relief of Rs 1,000 each to those who survived with minor injuries and Rs 2,000 to the seriously injured.Three of the seriously injured were later referred to the GMCH here. They included Wasim Aftab, Shamima Begum and Abdul Rashid. Over speeding was stated to be the reason behind the incident. |
