KSJ deplores colluding of some KP leaders with separatists | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 4: The executive committee of Kashmiri Samaj Jammu (KSJ) met here today under the chairmanship of its president. The meeting discussed at length the present prevailing situation in the state in general and Jammu region in particular, while criticising the moves of some of self styled leaders who even had gone to the extent of telling upper ground terrorist leaders "that Kashmiri Hindus would had been part of their struggle, had they taken leadership of Kashmiri Hindus into confidence at that time" and wondered how have they spoken on behalf of those people who were hounded out of their homes and hearths at their behest to save their honour and lives. The meeting said no one has given them any mandate to speak on their behalf and also to those who have rejected pluralistic society of live and let live. The meeting also hailed the efforts of Relief, Revenue and Rehabilitation Minister, Raman Bhalla in mitigating the problems being faced by displaced and other people. The meeting appealed Minister for getting a ghat on the bank of River Tawi preferably near Press Club to Samadhian, that is approachable for all and parking is available, identified so that could be developed for performance of religious obligations of Hindus from Kashmir to their dead ones on their tenth day as during winter months Canal is closed for annual repairs and drugging. The meeting resolved that a deputation of prominent Kashmiri Hindus will soon call on Minister and apprise him of the problems being faced by the members of community on this account and request for allotment of Ghat for performance of rituals for dead ones. |
