| JAKFED Employees strike enter day 5 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 4: JAKFED employees continued their strike for into fifth day demanding implementation of 6th Pay Commission report and alleged that JAKFED Board is deliberately ignoring the demands of employees which is discriminatory' and arbitrarily on its part.
Addressing the protestors, trade union leaders alleged that the Board meeting on 28.04.2012 was rescheduled for 30th of April 2012 but despite of the assurances, the Board meeting was again deferred which is purely discriminatory' and & arbitrarily on their part with the aggrieved employees of the JAKFED. We affirm our stand and claim on the ground that during the regime of present dispensation run by Ravinder Gupta, Managing Director under the Chairmanship of Dr Manohar Lal Sharma, Chairman of JAKFED, our high profile institution has gained a vast momentum.
The protestors made a fervent appeal to the MoS for Cooperatives to kindly accede to our most genuine demand so that further ruination of institution due to strike could be avoided timely.
Protestors alleged that delay in board meeting is putting the employees at losers end who have anchored their high hopes on the board meeting. |
