| ReTs warns to observe strike on May 14 | | | Early times report
Jammu , May 4 : All J&K ReT teachers Forum has decided to hold one day token strike cum dharna in front of the Office of Director School Education (DSE) Jammu on May 14 against the delay in the process of regularization of RETs who have completed five years satisfactory service since Feb. 2011 onwards.
State President of RET teac hers forum, Vinod Sharma disclosed about the decision in an emergency meeting held here at exhibition gro und Jammu after meeting Personal Officer Director School Education Jammu. Members in the meeting took serious note of delaying tactics in the regularization process of ReTs who have completed their 5 years satisfactory period.
They alleged that despite repeated requests through deputations and media about their early regularization process of RETs but the same remained pending for more than one year and RETs those have already served for five years. Speakers warned to go on strike on May 14, 2012 if regularization orders of RETs are not issued before May 12. Among others who spoke on the occasion included You nis Rahi Teli, Rajesh Singh Jamwal, Lekh Raj Pari har, Sukhdev Singh, Subash Chander, Rishi Kumar, Ranjeet Singh, Vijay Kumar, Mohd Yousaf and others. |
