| Teaching fraternity highlights their problems | | | Early times report
kishtwar , May 4 : Advisory Board of District Masters / Teachers Association of Distt Kishtwar held its meeting under president ship of Meh boob Ahmad Qazi senior leaders of the association to discuss issues of the teaching fraternity.
During the meeting various issues/ concern pertaining to Masters/Teachers/RETs were discussed in length. Participants discussed issue of salary of Masters/Teachers falling in plan scheme is still
awaited, first installment of 6th Pay Commission of the masters/Teachers of above plan scheme yet has not been credited to their GPF, the association asked to deposit the Monthly subscription (GP) of all Head Teachers/Teachers working under SSA in CSS monthly basis within stipulated time.
In the end members in the meeting urged Director School Education (DSE) Jammu to adjust teachers working in remote areas against the vacancies available after the teachers being promoted as Masters. The Teachers community appealed to MLA Kishtwar & MLA lnderwal to intervene for the appointment of a competent Chief Education Officer for Distt Kishtwar. |
