| Ex-Servicemen rally organized in Kishtwar | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, May 5: An Ex-servicemen Rally was organized at Bhandarkoot Kishtwar by the troops of 11 Rashtriya Rifles for the Veterans of the Army, their kin and dependents of martyrs.
Approximately 120 Ex- Servicemen/ Veer Naris (Widows) and mothers of deceased army personals who laid down his life for the cause of nation participated in said rally.
Commanding Officer 11 Rashtrya Rifles Col Karan Singh in his opening address welcomed all Veer Naris, Ex-Servicemen, Civil dignitaries and chief guest, Commander Head Quarter 9 Sector Rashtrya Rifles Brig Hatish Kholi.
The Commander Officer 11 RR in his welcome address said that Ex- Servicemen rally was aimed at strengthening the bonds between the serving soldiers and Ex- serviceman and for taking further steps to ensure the welfare for Ex- Servicemen. He also presented the Gift Pack to all Veer Naris and assured full support of Army for their families.
During Tea, Commander and civil dignitaries interacted with the Ex-Servicemen and listened their problems sympathetically and assured speedy solution to their problems.
Tehsildar Chatroo Shokat Hayat Mattoo, NT Kishtwar Rajesh Sharma, officials of State Bank of India and Jammu and Kashmir Bank Kishtwar also present on the occasion. |
