| Glaring discrepancies in voters list: BSP | | | JAMMU, May 5: Senior leader Bahujan Samaj Party Yashpal Bhagat said that on perusal of voter lists received from Election Office for election to Municipal Committee there were glaring discrepancies. He alleged that same has been done with ulterior motive to defeat the cause of free and fair polls. He also said that a number of names of voters are found enlisted in other wards also. Adding further he said that similar discrepancies are noted in other Municipal Wards also. Taking serious note of these glaring mistakes BSP leaders also said that inspite of awaring these discrepancies to concerned authorities nothing has been done on the subject. BSP leaders further added that S.R Majotra State general secretary and contesting candidate from Kathua Assembly constituency who made several representations for discrepancies in Kathua, but authorities did not rectified the discrepancies.
BSP stressed upon the concerned authorities before going to process of election these discrepancies be rectified. |
