| Residents express gratitude to Minister , PHE Deptt | | | Early Times Report
Jammu ,May 5: Residents of Basant Vihar, ward No 53 Trikuta Nagar organized a function in which residents under the leadership of Nitish Mahajan (Youth Congress ) and Sardar B.S Mastana (General Secretary District Congress Committee) highly appreciated the efforts of Raman Bhalla (Minister for Revenue, Relief, Rehabilitation) in promptly redressing the problems of water supply in their Mohalla.
Nitish Mahajan said that Raman Bhalla during his visit in this locality last week assured the local population that he will fight for their rights and convinces the authorities to address their long pending water related problem. We are happy that Public Health Engineering authorities endorsed and acted upon the request of Raman Bhalla for laying down water pipes in the Basant Vihar locality of ward no 53 ,Trikuta Nagar.
Nitish Mahajan further informed that people of Basant Vihar were gravely suffering from the old rusted and leaking pipes.Mahajan has also taken up the problem of instalments of new Electric poles in the area with the local ML.A. Sardar B.S Mastana general secretary District Congress Committee) while addressing the media person informed that Congress party is committed to public interests and will reach to every nook and corner of the state for public welfare and redress of people's grievances.
