GEJAC activists to sit on daylong fast on May 7 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu May 5: As decided and announced earlier by the both the GEJAC of Kashmir and Jammu Provinces a delegation comprising of 20 representatives from Jammu province is leaving for Srinagar to participate in 'fast for 24 hours' out side the Civil Secretariat in summer capital to impress upon state government to mitigate the employees demands. Speaking in a press conference Sushil Sudan, Subhash Verma, Suresh Sharma and Mohd Farooq senior leaders of GEAJC Jammu region said that in view of failure of the Government to take any decision on the pending demands such as disbursement of 6th Pay Commission Arrears in two cash installments, regularization of all kind of daily wagers, removal of anomalies and etc, over 100 activities of GEJAC leaders from both the regions comprising of all the Distt will sit on fast for 24 hours. The leaders however warned the Govt of dire consequences if anything worst happened. Sudan also mentioned that Vinod Sharma, Swaran singh, Suman Sharma, Romesh Khajuria, K.C.Du-bey. Bushan Verma shall comprise of the delegation which will stage protest and were present in the media conference.
