| CEO pays surprise visit to schools | | | early times report
KATHUA, May 5: To expedite the enrolment drive and take stock of functioning of the schools, the Chief Education Officer Kathua, Joginder Kumar Sudan paid surprise visit to various schools of Kathua Zone today.
During the visit he inspected Government High School and Government Girls Middle School Parliwand Kathua. He also interacted with the students and the staff. He exhorted upon the staff to put their best efforts to increase the enrolment in their respective schools and overall personality development of the students along with the enhancement of their competence.
He instructed the staff to ensure that benefits of various central as well as state sponsored schemes reach to the targeted lot. he asked them to prove their worthiness by providing quality education and creating conditions which contribute to the special drive aimed at increasing the enrolment in Government schools.
Further, the school incharges were directed to undertake necessary repairs of school buildings, including improvement of sanitary conditions out of school funds. |
