| Sikh organisations hail appointment of Dr Rajinder as HoD | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 5: Various Sikh organisations welcomed the decision of Health Department to appoint Dr Rajinder Singh as Head of Department of Orthopedics in Government Medical College, here today. Chairing the meeting chief organiser Bhai Kanahiya Niskam Seva Society, S Mohinder Singh said that he is a first Orthopedic Surgeon of state awarded with prestigious Diplomat National Board Degree in Orthopedic in 1986 and also teaching under graduate and post graduate (Orthopedics) students in both regions. He added that Dr Singh is also helping poor patients under social organi sation. Keeping in view his all qualities of head and heart the Society appealed to Chief Minister, Medical Education Minister, MLAs and MLCs that he be granted extension so that he can serve the people with all his might.
Among those who were present of the occasion included Sardars Narbir Singh, Paramjit Singh, Gajan Singh, Avtar Singh Khalsa, Kulwant Singh, Ramneek Singh Bijral and Manmohan Singh beside others. |
