| Two CRPF Jawans injured in accidental gun fire at PCR | | | Jammu | Jan 28 Two Jawans of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were seriously injured when official weapon of one of their colleagues deployed at Police Control Room (PCR), Jammu went off accidentally. Both the injured were shifted to GMC Hospital and their condition was stated to be out of danger when reports last came in. According to reports, today morning the Carbine gun of a CRPF Head Constable namely Madan Patwari (belt no. 880967827) deployed at PCR, Jammu fell on the ground and accidentally went off injuring two Jawans standing nearby. They have been identified as Head Constable Kehar Singh, son of Bani Ram of Delhi and Constable S N Rathore, son of Ramji Rathore of Maharastra both from 26 Bn of CRPF. The injured were immediately shifted to hospital for treatment where their condition was stated to be out of danger. Sources said that senior officer of Police and CRPF also visited the spot and ordered an inquiry into the episode. Meanwhile, the entire surrounding area was struck with panic due to the firing and rushed to the spot for witnessing it.
