| Plus 2 Lecturers extend support to EJAC's strike call Early Times Report | | | | JAMMU, May 6: All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum today extended its full support to the strike call given by Employees' Joint Action Committee (EJAC) on May 8 and 9 President All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum, NS Jamwal stressed upon the Plus 2 community to extend their moral support to the strike of EJAC.Jamwal was addressing a meeting of All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum held in the central office of the Forum. The meeting was attended by district presidents, tehsil presidents, core members and members of advisory council. In the meeting the members also discussed at length the burning issues like issuance of formal orders of regularization, running pattern, 40% college quota for in-service lecturers, incentives for higher qualification, revision of rates in board assignments and reorganization of the department. Jamwal also apprised the house that Dr. Manzoor Ahmed, President Kashmir Province will now work as State President of the All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum as per the constitution of the forum till the darbar move from Srinagar to Jammu. Others who spoke on the occasion include vice presidents Charan Dass and Manmeet Bali, general secretary Tarsem Singh, chief organizer Ashwani Sharma, tehsil heads Pradeep Singh, Mulkh Raj and Ghar Singh, members of advisory council O.P. Katoch and Deepak Kumar. |
