| Tariq memorial trust distributes scholarship | | | early times report
Kishtwar, May 6:- Tariq Memorial Trust Kishtwar (NGO) today distributed free scholarship among eight poor children of Kishtwar district studying in Islamia Fareediya Higher Secondary School Kishtwar. The scholarship includes tuition fee of one year, complete uniform and books. In a simple function organized inside the school premises, MLA Kishtwar Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo handed over the cash scholarship , Uniform and books to the deserving students.
While addressing the students, MLA stresses the local people and NGO's to come forward and help the poor students of Kishtwar district in education. He said that charity is among the best noble cause before the Almighty . He said that government under various schemes through Social Welfare Department provides financial help to the poor and deserving students. He said that Jammu and Kashmir Government only last year announce scholarship scheme for middle pass girl students in case they will further continue their education. He hoped that Tariq Memorial Trust will work with zeal and zest to continue its helping hands to the poor people of Kishtwar district in terms of providing them the financial support.
It is worthwhile to mention that trust last year donates swimming machines to poor and orphaned girls so that they can earn their livelihood. The trust also distributes free ration every year among the needy and poor people.
The trust also distributed free medicines among poor peoples and also installed water cooler at District Hospital Kishtwar. While expressing his views, the members of the trust said that they will continue its help to under privilege families of Kishtwar in future as well. The trustees also expressed its gratitude and thanked all the members and friends who give financial and logistic support to the trust. |
