FPSJ to felicitate candidates selected for civil services | | | early times report Jammu, May 6 : Foundation for Peace and Social Justice (FPSJ) has decided to felicitate the 10 outstanding youth of Jammu and Kashmir who have been selected for the prestigious and allied services this year. For this purpose a function would be held in Jammu shortly where these youth would be honoured. Decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the foundation for peace and social justice held here today which was presided over by its Chairman and Sr. Congress leader Ashok Sharma. Speaking on the occasion, Sharma expressed his happiness that a record number of 10 boys and girls from Jammu and Kashmir have cracked the All India Civil Services Examination this year. He added that the youth of J&K are highly talented and hardworking and if they get an enabling environment than sky is the limit as for as the success is concern. Sharma stated that an effort would be made to rope in affluent sections of society, former senior bureaucrats, University teachers and all those who have remain associated with the selection process for arranging free coaching facilities to meritorious youth who belong to poor families or from remote areas and cannot afford coaching for this competitive examination on their own. |
