Madhu Paramhansji highlights importance of recitation | | | Early Times Report Jammu , May 6 : During his religious discourse at Sant Ashram, Ranjri, Madhu Param Hans ji Maharaj, the head of Sahib Bandgi panth said that the Surti (concentration) is blind without Nam. Remaining in the company of Mind, our Surti has become blunt in a manner a knife becomes blunt after repeatedly using it for cutting purpose. Our 11th aperture lies in this very Surti. We are not talking about Surti-Shabad Abhyas (the practice of the word Surti) which is nothing but a misleading theory. This is because Sahib Kabir has never called these musical sounds as God. These sounds emanate from within the Bhanwar Gufa (in the Sushumna nerve) and stop afterwards. As such, we are talking about the Surti yog only. There is a lot of difference between the two. It is the nature of mind to recite. It is upto you to use it at your place of choice. Either you can use it for the worship of the satguru or you can use it for earning poison. Even while reciting Nam, if your Mind is engaged in the world of imaginations, you are in the company of Mind for the time being and during this period you will feel yourself like Mind itself. When some devotee recites 'Nam', the Sushumna gets activated. In fact, recitation is the technique of creating awareness in Sushumna. Just as the pitch of the Deck becomes louder on rotating the switch, the Sushumna nerve gets opened on rotating the switch of the breath in the upward direction. The opening of Sushumna results in an increases in the awareness of the body. Medulla plexus is the seat of soul. It moves in the body through the medium of Ida & Pingla. Whenever the soul tries to move upward, the mind creates hurdles. It does so in a very strange way. It doesn't pelt stones at it. |
