ReT teachers demand regularization | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 6: A monthly meeting of All J&K ReT Teachers Forum today held at Town Hall Udhampur under the chairmanship of State President Vinod Sharma in which a large, number of ReT and EV Teachers from all the zones participated. While speaking on the occasion Vinod Sharma highlighted the genuine and long pending demands of ReTs and EVs which include regularization of EVs as general line teachers who have completed their 7 years service since March 2010 onwards as committed by the Government, inclusion of 5 years rendered service of ReTs for seniority benefits implementation of Govt. order No 115 dated 29-02-2008 for old pension scheme in favour of ReTs engaged before 01-01-2010, implementation of Govt. order for enhancement of wages of ReTs as announced in the Assembly session, transfer policy in favour of regularized ReT Teachers and provision of SRO-43 in favour of RETs and EVs. He appealed the Govt to concede their genuine demands as per the commitment of the Govt. and not to force the ReT teachers to come on roads who were playing an important role in the education Deptt. Meanwhile, Forum members took a serious note in delaying the regularization process of ReTs who have completed 5 years service since Feb. 2011 onwards by Director School Education, Jammu. They decided to hold one day protest cum dharna in front of Directorate of School Education Jammu on May 14 if their regularization orders are not issued before May 12. |
