| Vikalp Morcha to emerge in Jammu Pradesh | | Co-ordintion Committee constituted | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 6 : A meeting of several regional political parties, social groups and noted social activists held at Jammu to review the present situation that prevails in the state because of the draconian corrupt rule in the state. The meeting was convened by Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman NPP and Member of National Integration Council today. The prominent persons who participated included Harsh Dev Singh MLA, Sheikh Abdul Rehman, Ex-MP and State President Sama jwadi Party, Bharat Bhushan Kotwal Adv. Vice-Chairman JKNPP, Yashpal Kundal MLA State general secretary JKNPP, Udey Chand, Chairman Duggar Pra desh Party, Major General (Retd.) Gov erdhan Singh Jamwal, Professor Hari Om, S. Daljit Singh, Vice-President, Anita Thakur State General Secretary JKNPP, Rajiv Chunni, President SOS, Dr. Zahoor-ud-Din, Dev Raj Baru, Anoop Singh Salathia.
There emerged a total consensus to forge a strong alternative (Vikalp Morcha) in Jammu Pradesh to ensure equity, justice and remove discrimination with Jammu and Ladakh. A conveners' committee to continue the consultation in this regard with other political, social and individual groups was constituted. The conveners included Sheikh Abdul Rehman, Udey Chand, H.C. Jalmeria Adv., Dr. Zahoor-Ud-Din, Rajiv Chunni with Prof. Bhim Singh as Coordinator. |
