Jugal given rousing reception | | | Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, May 7 : Former Minister and Member Legislative Council (MLC) Jugal Kishore Sharma was accorded a warm reception at Udhampur today by a huge gathering of people of district Udhampur. Besides the people programme with overwhelming zeal and zest. Addressing public gatherings in the premises of Dak Banglow Udhampur, the MLC said that the coalition Government is committed to develop all nook and corner of the state especially for far flung areas so that the people of the area may get maximum benefit from the beneficial schemes initiated for their socio economic transformation launched by the state and Central Government. On the occasion the people who had come from various parts of the district like Ramnagar, Majalta, Panchari, Chenani, Udhampur apprised the MLC about developmental demands pertaining to their respective areas which mainly include setting up of a degree college at Majalta, ITI at Chenani, Plying of SRTC bus service from Udhampur to Lander- Panchari and Udhampur to Dudu- Basantgarh, filling of vacant posts in education department, improvement in drinking water facility, power supply, road connectivity etc. Jugal said he was familiar with the demands of people of different areas of the district and efforts would be made to take up their genuine demands with the concerned agencies for their early solution in a phased manner. Jugal said that he would leave no stone unturned in mitigating the problems of the people of the state. He said the party has given him this responsibility to serve the people of the state and his priority will be to come up to the expectations of the people of the area and the party. Among others, prominent citizens including, Smt. Geeta Devi, Brij Mohan Khajuria, Ashwani Khajuria, Taro Devi, Shakeel Shah, Sarpanchs and Panchs, and large number of people were also present on the occasion. |
