| Congress protests slow pace of development | | | Early Times Report
Bishnah, May 7: Block Congress Committee Bishnah held its meeting in which all the office bearers & members of different Zone committee of the block participated. A large number of party workers and Numberdars, Chowkidars, Sarpanches, Panches from all over the Bishnah Constituency also participated in this meeting. Gulchain Singh Charak Former Minister & Member CWC attended the occasion as special invitee. While speaking on the occasion Gulchain
Singh Charak said the party workers that he has already taken up their problems with the Government and the concerned authorities, who in return had promised to take necessary steps at the earliest. He also appealed the workers that they should take every possible step for the solution of the problems being faced by the public.
Earlier various local leaders highlighted the problems being faced by the public and raised following pertinent issues including measures to improve electricity system in the area, necessary arrangements for providing of irrigation facilities and de-silting of canals, construction and repair of the damaged ventilated cause way bridge near Rehal, up gradation of dilapidated lanes and drains in the Block and allotment of the special funds for this border constituency. |
