| PDP holds meeting | | | Early Times Report
Mendhar, May 7: PDP unit of Mendhar held its meeting under the leadership of its zone president Mohd Azam Sagar. The meeting was attended by district vice president Waseem Ahmed Khan and Master Anyatullah Khan, Ch Mohd Faiz and Ch Aftab Ahmed Tabi all block presidents.
In the meeting that the present political scenario was discussed relating to transfer of powers to elected Sarpanchs and Panchs, roads and building works, education ,PHE and PDD works in the tehsil which were initiated by the MLA and their pace of work by the various departments.
The members in the meeting observed that various departments are not serious in the projects started by the MLA and the pace of work was very slow to complete theses projects in time as the corruption had gripped these departments.
Sarpanchs and Panchs of different panchayats said that roads initiated by the PMGSY Department had not yet paid compensation to owner of the land and houses which comes in there road maps. They also criticised the present coalition govt for ignoring twins district of Rajouri and Poonch in the police recruitment and unemployment level raises high in the twins district. They alleged that coalition Govt is treating opposition constituency as step motherly in the field of development, education, health sector, connectivity of roads and An appeal has made in the meeting of sarpanchs, panchs and PDP workers to work united to strengthened the hands of PDP Patron Mufti Sayeed and party president Mahbooba Mufti to move agenda of party to raise
the voice against the inefficient coalition Govt which only offer hollow slogans.
Among others present in the meeting included Naseeer, Master Sadiq, Ch Nazir,Waqar Khan, Zaheer Khan, Ehsan Akram Khan, Naseem Khan Iftikhar Khan, Dr Aslam Khan, Haji Ayooum, Mohd Nammaaz Khan and others. |
