LWU extends support to EJAC's strike on May 8

EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu May 7: All Jammu and Kashmir Electric Department Linemen and Workers Union (LWU) Jammu held its meeting under the chairmanship of Ghulam Nabi, president of the union and members unanimously resolved to support EJAC's strike.
During the course of meeting members unanimously decided that the Linemen and Workers Union will also support the two day's strike call given by Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) to be observed on May 8-9.
Meanwhile speakers made a fervent appeal to all the members of the union to support the strike call as the demands put forth by the employees joint action committee are genuine and need to be fulfilled by the government.
Vijay Kumar, Krishan Lal, Vijay Gupta, Paras Ram, Ashiq Hussain,Girdhari Lal and others also spoke in the meeting.
