| MLA distributes IAY drought relief cheques | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, May 8 : In an impressive function organize by Rural Development Department Poonch. MLA, Poonch Ajaz Ahmed Jan distributed 51 IAY Cheques amounting to Rs 10 lack to the beneficiaries of Khanater Dalhera Panchayat under BRGF Backward Region Grant Fund which were identified by the Panchayat.Also drought relief cheques amounting to Rs, 10,40,000/- were distributed among beneficiaries of the area.Speaking on the occassion Sarpanch Khanater Dalhera Mohd. Yasin thanked the Legislator for the special package of IAY cases among the most deserving families of his Panchayat. He also raised a demand for black topping of road which was immediately conceded by the Legislator.Sarpanch Khanater Kalsan Mohd. Shabir Choudhary and Sarpanch Shamima Akhter also thanked the legislator for the Model Village sanctioned for the villages of Khanater.
He also thanked for the drought relief provided on spot.Speaking on the occasion MLA Poonch his firm resolve for development of backward pockets of his constituency and Khanater Sarpanches his priority list.
He promised for black topping of Khanater road in a month's time. He assured the public of equal development of all region and advised them to beat the nefarious designs of those who indulge in blackmaking tactics and divisive politics. He promised to open two new Primary Schools. He issued directions to Block Development Officer Poonch Aijaz Qaiser for gearing up MGNREGA works especially in Flood control. |
